Abstract

The paper focuses on three unpublished inscriptions identified during the campaign carried out in Thignica in September 2018. Two epitaphs are engraved on a funeral altar and the third on a stele. Special attention is paid to the nomen Vibulenus of one of the deceased mentioned in the altar; indeed, the amount of Vibuleni from Thignica has no comparison in the Roman world. Finally, the epitaph engraved on the stele constitutes the only local epigraphic funerary example so far known concerning a person who died before the age of ten.
