We would like to remind you that, within the framework of the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers, the call for applications for the 'Open Access Awards: contributions to the open access publication of research articles of  young researchers to strengthen their professional careers and enhance the research system of the University of Cagliari' published with DR n 344 of 1/4/2025.

APPLICANTS: researchers, as defined by the European Charter for Researchers and the TOWARDS A EUROPEAN FRAMEWORK FOR RESEARCH CAREERS, of type R1 (PhD students, residents and non-medical specialization school students), R2 (postdoctoral fellows, research fellows, research contractors) and R3 (RTdA, RTdB, RTT researchers) who are affiliated to the University of Cagliari at the time of submission of the contribution to the publisher, may apply for funding.

SUBJECT OF THE INTERVENTION: A financial award will be granted to publish scientific contributions in pure (or gold) open access, with Italian and foreign publishers.

AVAILABLE RESOURCES: € 80,000.00 total; maximum amount awarded per individual researcher to cover costs shall not exceed €2,500.00 (VAT included) for 2025

ONLINE APPLICATION PROCEDURE: by filling in the application form (link - DR n 344 del 1/4/2025) application (accessible with @unica.it login credentials) through which the applicant must certify that he/she meets all the requirements set out in the call and provide the information necessary.

DEADLINE: applications submitted for eligible contribution shall be met on a first-come, first-served basis, until the fund is exhausted.
