Marie de France: L'allegoria sottotraccia

Abstract
The allegorical textual process occurs often hidden, and only visible in filigree, as an underlying but essential meaning. This elegant process can be seen in the “Lais” by Marie de France, pleasant and melancholy tales of love, that contain not only a highly moral meaning, and even a subversive one, regarding the common ethics, but they also bring into being, and masterfully 'meta-represent' the allegorical method itself: this one is not only the deep essence of the text structure, but it is also the cognitive and moral value and the true spirit of life: the meaningful life: indeed not only you write, but also you live allegorically.File | Size | Format | |
