Abstract
The acquisition of Italian as a variable language, promoted by theoretical studies for some time now and reiterated in the latest Indicazioni and Linee Guida, struggles to establish itself in the actual school practice. Therefore, it seems necessary to develop new models in order to encourage a linguistic competence based on the concept of variation and to provide teachers with methods, theoretical backgrounds, contents as well as concrete educational proposals. This paper has the purpose of illustrating the potentialities of nonliterary texts in schools and proposing some operating paths, on the basis of experiments tested also through personal experiences. The productions from below, that have been recently subject of theoretical thoughts at the historical and socio-linguistic level, have several advantages both methodological and for the content they carry and for contexts that they evoke and that open up the possibility of cross-disciplinary courses. They are here presented and discussed some cases actually experienced that allow to focus on the elements of strength and the real impact of such texts on teaching Italian.File | Size | Format | |
