Abstract
The poetry of oral improvisation, as an immaterial good but also as a social practice, reflects the cosmovision of the cultures in which it manifests itself. In our case, the Gara poetica in Sardinia and the Controversia in Cuba act through the poets, as an umbilical cord that symbolically connects their own island with the continent. In this way, poets become bearers of the so-called central values, that is, those that refer to fundamental key values that integrate and identify a specific culture and serve to distinguish it from others. In order to corroborate it, a linguistic-textual analysis is carried out of verses improvised by Cuban and Sardinian poets dealing with the effects of emigration. These texts have been selected, transcribed, and analysed especially to be explored with reference to the morphosyntactic and lexical-semantic plane, with the aim of unravelling to unravel their messages.File | Size | Format | |
