Abstract
The aim of this work was to describe the rehabilitation of a superior monoedentulia by positioning a conometric connection implant and a prosthetic crown using CAD/CAM technique. Surgical steps are explained and the biological aspects of this particular morse conometrical connection are evaluated, with particular attention to the possibility of removing the crown by means of an innovative attachment hole in the abutment. This type of monoedentulia can now be solved by implant-prosthetic replacement, and the dentist must choose the most suitable implant for each individual case, the most favorable connection and the most appropriate prosthetic material with regard to bone and soft tissue biology.File | Size | Format | |
