Abstract
Mutual benefit societies, established in the late XIXth Century by the least-favored social classes in order to meet the needs deriving from diseases, injuries, death and unemployment, are regulated by the Law of April 15th, 1886 no. 3818. In current times, they were object of a renewed interest by the Law Decree of October 18th 2012, no. 179, which has reaffirmed the pivotal role of the complementary health’s players. Eventually, they are considered by the recent reform of the so-called Third Sector, that has begun with the Law no. 106/2016 and has numbered mutual benefit societies among Third-Sector entities.File | Size | Format | |
