Abstract
This paper aims to point to the system that informs the representation of the emotional sphere of “Atre Périlleux”, the French Arturian novel, post-chrestienian- 13th century. This novel is partly a parodic novel, and parttly - from an acute and incisive criticism of the courteous tradition – it reconstructs a complex of social and moral values that are proposed by a "new", and in any case different emission, in the form of allegory more or less concealed or underlined. Therefore this paper investigates and analyzes how the representation of the emotions, proposed at the primary level, according to the most traditionally way, were subtly bent on a critic in order to form a more solid rationality that governs the emotions themselves: these are not abolished or repressed, but are transformed into a feeling of interiority on which the self is built.File | Size | Format | |
