Disabilità e soggettività. Costruire un dialogo interdisciplinare attraverso l’ICF

Abstract
The need for an interdisciplinary approach to disability and inclusive processes is- sues cannot be conceived as an unusual subject in the current scientific debate. Nevertheless, the will for dialogue sometimes collides with a still broad distance among epistemic paradigms, languages and practices within the various domains of knowledge. From the outcomes of a recent research on identity development in the disabled person within the health care processes, it seems useful to enhance the exploration on the dialogue between Special Pedagogy and Medicine. Through a pedagogical reading of the bio-psycho-social model of the ICF, this ar- ticle aims to contribute in displaying some useful elements for the orientation of the medical practice towards the acknowledgment of the subjective and identity dimensions which characterize the existential expe-rience of the disabled person.File | Size | Format | |
